     "Matthew Wing of Banbury, County Oxford, England, Tailor, married one whose name does not appear and who probably died before him, became the father of four sons and three daughters. An abstract of his will, which was dated August 9th 1614 and which was proved in the prerogative of Cantbury, Nov. 15th following is here presented:
     To be buried in church yard of Banbury.
     To the poor of Banbury.
     To eldest son Fulk, the lease of the house in which I now dwell and twenty pounds.
     To second son Thomas, thirteen pounds.
     To third son, John, forty shilling.
     To daughter Johanna, twenty shilling.
     To children of eldest son Fulk viz- Annie, Dorcas, Mary, Matthew.
     To John, the son of my second son, Thomas.
     To Deborah Wynge, daughter of my third son John and to John his son.
     To John Nicholls, son of John Nicholls, my son-in-law.
     To Wm. Chamberlayne, son of John Chamberlayne my son-in-law.
     To the children of Richard Gullins, John, Thomas,and Phebe.
     Sons Faulk and Thomas to be executors."

Children of Matthew Wing (or Wynge)

     Fulk married - children Anne, Dorcas, Mary, Matthew.
     Thomas married - son John.
     John married - Deborah Batchelder, children Deborah, John.
     A daughter married Robert Chamberlayne, son Robert, Johanne.
     A daughter married John Nicholls, son, John. James married - son, William.

     "Rev. John Wing, third son of Matthew Wing, "pastor of the English Puritan church at Middleborough in Zeeland" who spoke of himself as "late of the Hague" in Holland, clerk now (1629) living in St. Mary Aldermary, London, married Deborah Batchelder born 1592 daughter of Stephen Batchelder, by his unknown first wife, the founder of the Batchelder family in America. Rev. John Wing died in London in 1630, leaving a will dated Nov. 2nd, 1629 and which was proved in the prerogative court of Canterbury August 4th, 1630. The following is an abstraction of that instrument."
     "Certain Lands (free hold) in Cuckston and Stroud county Kent, to be sold as conveniently may be, and the money thereof arising shall be with all my other goods etc., divided into two equal parts. The one to be had, received and enjoyed unto and by my loving wife Deborah; the other part or moiety to be equally and indifferently had, parted, divided and enjoyed unto and amongs all my children share and share alike, except unto and by my daughter Deborah, Whom I have already advanced in marriage. Wife Deborah to be executrix and Edward Foord of London, merchant and Andrew Blake of Stroud, in Kent., Yoeman, overseers."

     "The following item and the foegoing will disprove the statement that Rev. John Wing was a resident of Sandwich, Plymounth colony; he did not come to New England, but his widow Deborah Batchelder Wing, with several clidren, journeyed hither, as is evidenced by an extract from Q. R. Miscells. "Liscenses to Pass Beyond the Seas." Eliz. to Chas. I. P. P. 560-2.

     "XXII June 2nd, 1624 Deborah Wing 32 years old, wife of Mr. John Wing Preacher, resident in Vishing with her two children Viz Stephen 3 yrs old and Deborah 13 yrs. old.
